Some roofing companies are built to sell replacements. We are built to solve problems.
If a focused repair can safely extend the life of your roof, we will tell you. If continued repairs would only delay an unavoidable replacement, we will explain why and show you what we found. You receive practical options, straightforward pricing, and the information needed to make a confident decision.
A leak does not always mean the shingles have failed. Water may be entering around flashing, pipe boots, vents, walls, valleys, or exposed fasteners. We inspect the surrounding roof system, trace the likely entry point, and recommend a repair designed to correct the cause—not simply cover the symptom.
Add an honest qualification: very small repairs may be subject to a minimum service charge. Publish the amount only if Tim wants it public.

Workmanship Warranty
Replacement may make more sense when a roof has widespread deterioration, recurring leaks, significant storm damage, failing materials, or limited remaining service life. We explain the condition, compare available roofing systems, and provide a detailed written proposal with no vague allowances or surprise upgrades.
Your replacement is treated as a complete roofing system—not just a layer of new shingles. We pay attention to decking, leak barriers, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, drip edge, pipe boots, manufacturer installation requirements, and cleanup.
Your new roof is backed by Built Right Homes’ 10-Year Workmanship Warranty. If a problem occurs because of the way your roofing system was installed, we will inspect it and correct the covered workmanship issue at no charge.
This warranty covers installation-related workmanship performed by Built Right Homes. Roofing materials are covered separately by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty. Damage caused by severe weather, falling objects, structural movement, improper maintenance, alterations by others, or normal wear is not included.
Complete warranty terms are provided with your roofing agreement.
All three are quality architectural shingles. The right one depends on your home’s exposure, your budget, and the look you’re after.
A well-balanced architectural shingle with Scotchgard protection that helps resist the dark algae streaking common in humid East Tennessee summers.
Known for its SureNail fastening strip, which gives the nail line extra grip. A dependable choice for homes that take direct wind exposure.
A heavier shingle with a reinforced nailing zone at a competitive price point. A practical option when budget matters but durability still counts.
Standing seam metal costs more up front, and for the right home it can be the last roof you buy.
Properly installed standing seam commonly lasts decades longer than asphalt.
Concealed fasteners and interlocking panels stand up well to wind and heavy rain.
Reflective finishes reduce heat gain, which helps during long Tennessee summers.
Clean vertical lines that suit farmhouse, craftsman, and contemporary homes.
No line items quietly removed to make a bid look cheaper. This is the standard scope on every replacement we do.
Clear communication and owner-managed work from inspection through final cleanup.
We assess the roof nd identify concerns.
You receive a clear written proposal.
We coordinate materials and property protection.
We install the complete roofing system.
We complete cleanup and final quality review.
A warranty is only useful if you understand it. We walk through both layers of coverage during your proposal review.

East Tennessee storms can lift shingles, crack boots, and damage flashing in ways that are hard to see from the ground.
After severe weather, we perform a detailed storm inspection and photograph what we find. If the damage looks claim-worthy, you get organized documentation you can hand directly to your insurance company.
We’re glad to be on site when the adjuster visits and to explain the damage in technical terms. What we won’t do is promise an approval. Coverage decisions are made by your insurer based on your policy, and any contractor who guarantees a claim outcome is telling you what you want to hear.
We hired Timothy Joseph Construction for a full roof replacement after getting several estimates, and we’re extremely glad we chose them. From the first inspection, everything was explained clearly and honestly. There was no pressure, no upselling, just straightforward recommendations. The crew was professional, respectful of our property, and the final result looks solid and well-built. This is the kind of workmanship you don’t worry about later.
After a bad experience with another contractor, we were nervous about starting a remodeling project. Timothy Joseph Construction immediately put us at ease. Communication was clear, timelines were realistic, and the quality of work exceeded what we expected. They paid attention to details that most companies overlook, and the end result feels durable and thoughtfully done.
What impressed me most was how organized and hands-on this company is. They treated our home with respect, kept the job site clean, and always showed up when they said they would. The project stayed on track, and the finished work feels strong and well executed. You can tell they take pride in doing things the right way.
From the very first conversation, everything felt honest and professional. We always knew what was happening and why. There were no surprise costs, no rushed decisions, and no excuses.
